Installation Instructions:

1. Prepare the Surface:

   • Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of debris.

   • Minimum tile size: 2″ x 2″ (5 cm x 5 cm).

2. Apply the Peel and Stick Membrane:

   • Remove the release liner from the DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS membrane.

   • Place the fleece/adhesive side down, applying to the floor.

   • Embed the matting into the substrate using a float, screed trowel, or DITRA-ROLLER for full contact between adhesive and substrate.

3. Roll and Secure:

   • Use a DITRA-ROLLER (with weight not exceeding 75 lbs) to ensure full embedding.

   • Overlap successive passes for a smooth installation.

4. Abut Adjacent Sheets:

   • Align studs on the matting to assist with heating cable installation.

5. Install Heating Cables:

   • Follow the DITRA-HEAT-E-HK installation instructions (provided separately).

   • Tile can be installed directly over the membrane after heating cables are in place using unmodified thin-set.
