This product is specifically designed for hydronic underfloor heating systems after installation, providing an ideal substrate for tile installation.

Its primary function is not heat generation, but to serve as a high-performance structural tile backer system above water-based heating systems.

• Covers and protects hydronic heating pipe systems
• Provides a high-strength tile installation base
• Acts as a thermal insulation layer
• Distributes structural loads and prevents cracking
• Serves directly as a tile-ready load-bearing substrate

Product Structure

• High-density XPS closed-cell insulation core
• Reinforced surface with cementitious mortar + fiberglass mesh
• Compatible with hydronic piping leveling systems (screed / leveling layer)
• Designed for direct tile adhesive application

Installation System Overview

Step 1: Install XPS Backer Boards

• Bond using tile adhesive or thin-bed mortar
• Ensure full surface adhesion
• Tight joint alignment between board

Step 2: Hydronic System Installation

• Install PEX piping
• Fix and pressure test the system
• Cover with screed or leveling mortar if required

Step 3: Leveling Layer (Optional)

• Apply thin leveling compound if needed
• Or proceed directly to tile adhesive layer

Step 4: Tile Installation

• Use flexible tile adhesive (C2TE / S1 grade recommended)
• Install ceramic tiles or large-format slabs

Step 5: Grouting & System Completion

• Apply grout
• System ready for commissioning and use
