Product Overview

The STRUX XPS Curved Tile Backer Board is a flexible, tile-ready building panel designed for creating curved and rounded structures.

Manufactured from HCFC-free extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam, reinforced with fiberglass mesh and polymer cement mortar layers, the board combines 100% waterproof performance, thermal insulation, and high mechanical strength.

Factory-cut grooves at 30 mm intervals on one side allow the board to bend easily around pre-formed substructures. Once shaped, the grooves can be filled with tile adhesive to form a rigid, durable construction, providing a smooth and stable surface ready for tiling.

Installation Notes

• Fix panels using S1-grade tile adhesive and/or stainless screws with washers
• 20–50 mm thickness: approx. 6–7 pcs/m²
• Recommended fixing quantity:
• Joints should be sealed using waterproof tape or a complete waterproofing system
• Boards should be installed in an offset pattern
• Grooves can be filled with adhesive after shaping to achieve rigidity
